I must be one of Dognests first customers from the early 70's. We have 5 giant rectangular beds and two more smaller beds for the car. For over 35 years the original beds have been perfect beds for a number of our Basset hounds and now remain for the comfort of our one remaining Basset who is now 11 1/2 years old, 2 miniature wire haired dachshunds and one Standard Poodle puppy. The original "inside" covers made from very heavy duty nylon are still in perfect condition and over the years I have refilled the polystyrene granules and bought additional outer covers. We have an array of extra covers and I have only ever had to throw away one set which had simply worn out. I have only ever had one broken zip and that was replaced free of charge.
All of this is a perfect testament to the quality of Dognests - long may it continue.

Hope you are keeping well, and I send you warm regards, will try and get a picky of Ben to you on his lovely warm bed, but as my husband is the only one who knows how to do this, by email it will take a while.
Be well, sincerely Cynthia Godfrey
Congratulations on celebrating 36 years of making the unequalled Dognest.
As you can see from the attached photograph, my Border Terrier is completely relaxed on her bed. I think this picture illustrates the wonderful comfort and support the Dognest is rightly famous for.
Best wishes for the future.
Dear Mrs Bertram
Please find enclosed some pictures of my two Springer Spaniels Mille and Gromit wearing the beautiful coats you made for them.
The coats were made about ten years ago and have seen them right through their lives although the past few months have we have had to add an extension to the Velcrow fastening to deal with thickening girths.
They have received many admiring comments about their coats over the years and we have always been happy to sing the praises of Dognest products having bought two Dognest coats and the largest Dognest in the range.
Unfortunately Gromit is at the age of twelve in poor health now with auto immune and very sadly Millie passed away in May at the age of twelve and a half years suffering pancreatic cancer.
A big thank you must go to you for keeping them dry, warm and comfortable throughout their lives and if we are brave enough to have a new puppy when Gromit leaves us then it will certainly be sporting a new dognest coat for the winters.
Dear Mrs Bertram
Many thanks for sending the smart new Dognest covers, we, and the dogs, have been delighted with the Dognests over a great many years.
I enclose a couple of more recent photo's, they do like to squeeze both on the bed if possible.
You asked for photos of beds in use! Here are some taken of four on a large bed - do make use of them if you can.
All good wishes,
(Latest bed much appreciated by the increased pack)
"Hey Mum, there's hardly room to swing a dog in here!"
"Ah, thats much better"
We bought our dognest some 12 years ago for our two springer spaniels. We bought the largest size as they were always curled up together and thought that the largest size would afford them plenty of space. However, Millie our smaller spaniel had other ideas on the subject and in fact got straight on and would not allow Gromit to get on with her. She would share anything else with him even her food but the dog nest became her sole property. Gromit would craftily sneak on for a sleep when she was otherwise occupied. Sadly we lost both dogs last year to cancer but we have a new springer 21week old Breeze and he does not have to compete with anyone for the dognest. So thankyou Jane a second generation of Dale dogs are enjoying the comfort of dognests. When he has finished growing we would like to get him a made to measure coat if you still sell them as Millie and Gromits were widely admired and saw them right through their lives. Thank god for jane bertram and dognest products.
